We are a norwegian couple, who know almost nothing about Barbados. So we
are thinking about taking a year off, and go there to learn. Is it
anybody who could help us, or have some tips about how we can get a job

Third world? So sorry, B'dos has a brilliant education system, as far as I'm concerned everyone has a roof over their heads, clothes on their backs and food in their tummy's.
That is more than many leading world countries can claim. Have you travelled down some parts of your own city at night and offered blankets to the homeless? hmmm.......
